Artist Chris Fraser creates architectural environments that sculpt, shape and control light and shadows in ways that encourage participants to move and explore. Inspired by Arizona’s exquisite sky and the experimental architecture found at Arcosanti, Biosphere 2 and Kitt Peak National Observatory—Fraser has created a luminous installation where visitors navigate shafts of light and shape-shifting silhouettes. A second, optical installation outside the museum reflects the desert sun.
